What is the Onagra?

Onagra is a medicinal plant from the Onagraceae family, also known as Círio-do-norte, Erva-dos-burros, Enotera or Boa-tarde, widely used as a home remedy for female disorders, such as premenstrual tension or ovarian cyst.

This is a plant native to America that can be found in wild form in countries with moderate climate, although it is currently an herb grown on a large scale to extract the oil from its seeds, evening primrose oil.
